Nice Paper on Behavior Trees in Game AI

Recently Jeff has spent time working on the artificial intelligence in our game, which admittedly we have not invested much effort into thus far. So in between programming I have been reading different books, sites, and papers on the subject. And today I just wanted to share a great read that I came across online:

“An A.I. Player for DEFCON: An Evolutionary Approach Using Behavior Trees” by Chong-U Lim, 2009.

It is just over one-hundred pages in length, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even managed to make time for it while staying on track for my one book a week plan. If you have an interest in game AI, particularly using behavior trees, then you should give it a glance.
